The Trike Patrol's April ride, dubbed the "Spring Fling," took place on a sunny April 17th. The group gathered at a local dealership, where over 20 trikes were parked, awaiting the start of the adventure. The ride was led by experienced trike rider and group organizer, John, who guided the group through a scenic route of rolling hills, picturesque towns, and lush countryside.
Trikes are ultralights. They are sensitive to heat and humidity. In summer (June–August), high temperatures thin the air (high density altitude), reducing propeller thrust and wing lift.
