The "Ital 2021" scene was not the polished, luxury tattoo culture of Florence or Lake Como. It was raw, often unsafe, and explicitly digital-first. The aesthetic borrowed from Blade Runner 2049 , Cyberpunk 2077 (released in December 2020 to controversy but adored by this subculture), and Italian post-futurismo —a niche movement that reimagined the early 20th-century Futurist art movement through a cyberfeminist lens.
