Apne tells the story of Baldev Singh Choudhary (Dharmendra), a former national boxing champion who was disqualified for a foul punch early in his career. Humiliated and robbed of his gold medal, he projects his unfulfilled dreams onto his sons: Angad (Sunny Deol) and Karan (Bobby Deol).
