The story begins with Tess (Georgina Campbell), a young woman who arrives at her Detroit Airbnb late at night for a job interview. She discovers the house has been double-booked with a stranger named Keith (Bill Skarsgård). Against her better judgment, she decides to stay, but she soon realizes there is something far more dangerous in the house than an unexpected guest.
