-prefix-free lets you use only unprefixed CSS properties everywhere. It works behind the scenes, adding the current browser’s prefix to any CSS code, only when it’s needed.
“[-prefix-free is] fantastic, top-notch work! Thank you for creating and sharing it.”

You can also visit the Test Drive page, type in any code you want and check out how it would get prefixed for the current browser.
Just include prefixfree.js anywhere in your page. It is recommended to put it right after the stylesheets, to minimize FOUC
That’s it, you’re done!
The target browser support is IE9+, Opera 10+, Firefox 3.5+, Safari 4+ and Chrome on desktop and Mobile Safari, Android browser, Chrome and Opera Mobile on mobile.
If it doesn’t work in any of those, it’s a bug so please report it. Just before you do, please make sure that it’s not because the browser doesn’t support a CSS3 feature at all, even with a prefix.
In older browsers like IE8, nothing will break, just properties won’t get prefixed. Which wouldn’t be useful anyway as IE8 doesn’t support much CSS3 ;)
Test the prefixing that -prefix-free would do for this browser, by writing some CSS below:
When implementing, enable discretionary ligatures and stylistic sets as needed for branding consistency. Use tabular numbers for financial tables and lining figures for headlines where consistent vertical alignment is required.
Chaloops Medium is playful without being frivolous. Its strokes have a rounded, friendly warmth; counters breathe with open spaces; and terminals often curve or taper in ways that suggest motion. The overall voice reads as casual confidence — suitable for brands, editorial accents, and expressive display text that wants to feel human and a little mischievous.
One night, I opened a blank document, set the font, and started typing my own obituary. Not out of sadness. Just to see how my life would look in those loops. I wrote: “He was here. He tried. He left the loops unfinished.”
The "Medium" weight refers to the specific stroke thickness—positioned exactly between the Regular (light) and Bold (heavy) variants. This weight is often considered the "Goldilocks" of the font family: not too thin to disappear in long paragraphs, and not too thick to overwhelm a delicate layout. The Chaloops Medium font offers the optimal contrast for body text in digital environments and headlines in print media.
The loops look broken or jagged in Photoshop. Solution: Increase the anti-aliasing setting to “Smooth” or “Sharp.” Also ensure you are using the .otf (OpenType) version, which handles curves better than TrueType.
