Directed by (who also helmed Wrong Turn 2 and Wrong Turn 4 ), Left for Dead takes a different approach. Instead of teen campers, the victims are a group of prison transfer wagons and U.S. Marshals who crash deep in the West Virginia wilderness. Their cargo? A sadistic, intelligent convict named Chavez (Jake Curran), who quickly becomes an uneasy ally against the cannibal clan.

The ambush leaves the prisoners and guards scattered throughout the forest. With no immediate rescue and limited supplies, the captives must confront both their fellow inmates and the relentless hunters.
