Happy falls in love with Pooja (Jasmin Bajwa) and plots to marry her while satisfying his father's greed. He eventually convinces his father to accept the match when Pooja’s family agrees to provide a small car as dowry.

The narrative takes a hilarious turn when the desire to go abroad (a common theme in Punjabi films) clashes with family expectations and a series of misunderstandings involving—you guessed it—a car. Without giving away spoilers, the film captures the desperation of the youth to settle overseas and the lengths they go to, often resulting in chaotic situations that leave the audience in splits.

The story follows (played by Ammy Virk), who belongs to a middle-class family led by a materialistic patriarch (Jaswinder Bhalla). His father views his sons as "investments" and insists on a significant dowry for their marriages.
